Engineering Systems Solutions Begins New Quality Initiative
New Director Scott Lindsay hired to launch and manage new program

Frederick, MD – Engineering Systems Solutions today announced that it has launched a new quality initiative designed to orchestrate and coordinate their existing quality programs, and obtain quality certifications for digital forensics and systems development maturity. The new quality initiative is an essential component of ESS’s Vision2010 and will ensure that their current customer satisfaction levels remain high, while ESS continues its rapid growth. Scott Lindsay has been appointed new Quality Manager and is tasked with organizing, monitoring, improving and reporting on the quality management system.
Scott Lindsay’s background includes 23 years of planning, running, assessing, and improving system quality assurance programs. His experience includes work for US Government contracts with the Defense Contract Administration Services at the Department of Defense as well as with commercial firms, such as Bell Communications Research and BAE systems. His previous work with ISO 9001/QA, life cycle management and quality management systems serves him will in his new position at ESS.
Dave Belak, Vice President of New Business and Chief Marketing Officer at ESS, stated, “Lindsay has the background needed to excel as Quality Manager and will be effective in helping ESS reach our Vision2010 growth goals.”
Lindsay holds an M.S. in Telecommunications, is a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality, and earned his certification as Certified Quality Auditor from the American Society for Quality.
“As we are growing, and the company is growing very quickly, we must maintain our current high level of customer satisfaction and quality,” says Lindsay. “We plan on staying ahead of the growth curve.”
Lindsay is an active member of the community as well, supporting youth programs in the area. “I am very excited about ESS’s activity with the Youth Ranch,” says Lindsay. Currently, he participates in Cub Scouts as leader for a local pack.
