Engineering Systems Solutions offers a variety of insurance programs to employees to choose from. Our medical benefit package includes a two-tier health insurance plan consisting of a national Preferred Provider Network (PPO) and a Health Maintenance Option (HMO) for employees and their families, available to employees their first day. ESS pays the bulk of the total cost of the health plans we offer, including medical, dental and vision coverage for you and your family.

Paid Time off

ESS believes it’s employees are the key to what makes us a great company. While work makes up a large portion of and employee’s life, we believe that a balance is essential in maintaining quality of life. To help foster this belief, ESS has designed a vacation, sick leave, and personal time package. Eligible employees accrue leave each pay period. Accrual rates vary, based upon years of service with the company and the fringe benefits offered by ESS.

In addition to PTO, ESS observes ten (10) designated holidays, which include: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Deciding to participate in a deferred savings plan gives you powerful resources to augment your personal retirement investment strategy for building a solid financial future.

The defined contribution retirement plan is a valuable benefit that rewards your long-term employment. Our 401(k) Savings Plan is offered to employees after 30 days of employment. Additionally, after one year of service we match 25% of every dollar you contribute to your 401(k) Savings Plan.

Educational Assistance Benefits

Full-time employees are eligible for tuition assistance for credited and non-credited courses (up to a $5,500 per calendar year). This covers tuition, books, registration charges and lab fees and other necessary material upon satisfactory completion of pre-approved courses at a credited college or university.

We provide confidential, short-term counseling services on an outpatient basis to help employees and their dependents resolve personal problems.
